there are many things I would like people from the United State to get to know in Honduras. My lovely and beautiful homecountry. Individuals, may pick up interesting places to visit such as mountains, rainforests, rivers, beaches, The Mayan Ruins of Copan, Bay Islands and many other attractive sites that would make them have a good time into this tropical Central American Country. Nevertheless, It all will depend on what an American would be hook up. Although, as I have to decide for one, I guest, one of the best bet, among others, would be the Bay Islands. These are places in located on the north of Honduras where there are three islands named: Utila, Roatan and Guanaja. In which Roatan is the most visited and wider Island, of the three of them, and where visitors could enjoy long white sand beaches, mountains, colourful coral reef and sunsets. Besides, other facilities, such as: professional divings during day or night time, snorkling, hiking, scenic overview, tropical african Honduran dances, etc. This type of dancing is considered one of the most wildest dancing in all the caribean. Not left to say, that the Island provides good and tasty food from the local and several international restaurants. In Roatan you can enjoy the real catches of the day, since, this is also a place where the biggest seafood companies trade lobsters, shrimps, fish to the rest of the country and some places into the United States. Peaceful will come into yourself as you appreciate the calm, shallow,crystal water that looks like as an emerald surrounding the 42 miles long of the island of Roatan. As you have read the statements form the above, you might aslo have started thinking about to get there. Especially when we think about the sunny and shiny days laying down on a hammock down the shade of the coconut palm trees. Geting there, is not that hard as in old days. Now we have several airlines going down to Honduras and you can deal with cheap flight prices if if you book long before your travel. Certainly, flying is not the only way to visit Roatan, in Honduras, you can also get there by ship. There are some cruise lines that have considered, our beautiful Island as one of the stops in their iteneraries. Most of these companies, home port, sail out of Miami or Fort Lauderdale, in Florida, U.S.A. Although, most of them start sailing on Saturdays of Sundays from those ports. As you can also see it is not that hard to plan a vacation in Honduras. You just need to start thinking about what to pick up to enjoy your next spring break. And if you pick up one, pick up Honduras, pick up Roatan, where you'll meet friendly people, and where native islanders language is English and who will also make you find your way all over the island.
